SHOP QVB'S FAMOUS SWAROVSKI CHRISTMAS TREE

Metro Light Rail will operate to Fish Market station for the duration of the 36 hour trade.

SEE CHRISTMAS LIGHTING PROJECTIONS ON SYDNEY TOWN HALL

No need to head out to the suburbs for your Christmas lighting fix, come and see Sydney’s iconic Christmas Projections on Sydney Town Hall.

Until Christmas night, images evoking Christmas will be projected onto Sydney Town Hall, transforming it into a canvas depicting a truly magical Christmas not-to-be-missed experience for all. All projections are on rotation each night.

DO SYDNEY FESTIVAL FIRST NIGHT

The heart of the city is again transformed for First Festival Night – an extravaganza that invites everyone to experience Sydney in spectacular and surprising new ways.

Hear a marathon eight hour set from DJ Norman Jay from his iconic double-decker bus, catch Jamaica’s mento masters The Jolly Boys or put on your retro threads for an explosive outdoor Trocadero Dance Party with The Sirens Big Band. See massive projections and street performances by one of Australia’s leading contemporary artists Brook Andrew, plus the breathtaking aerial performance As The World Tipped.

CELEBRATE NEW YEAR AT COAST

Still undecided for New Year celebrations? There are still a limited number of tables remaining to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Coast.

Coast is offering two options to see in 2012, a set five course celebration menu including coffee at $168.00 per person, or a stand up cocktail party for $118.00 per person including canapés and beverages. The cocktail party is offered in two sittings – 6pm – 9.30pm for the early fireworks and 9pm – 1am for the big show at midnight. Their resident DJ will be playing his signature sunset sounds from 9pm.

HEAR CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN

Woolworths Carols in the Domain is Australia’s largest free Christmas concert, so if you’re looking for your Little Drummer Boy Christmas carol fix, then this is the place you need to be.

Every year tens of thousands of people come together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas while raising funds for The Salvation Army Oasis Youth Support Network.

The event carnival kicks off at 12 noon, with pre-show entertainment commencing at 3pm and the Official concert commencing at 8.30pm.
