Foveaux is about as close to a proper little speakeasy as you'll probably find in Sydney. The tequila menu is big enough to rival Café Pacifico. They serve the correct rum in their Dark'n'Stormy and make their own ginger beer. In fact, we'd go so far to say it's the best version of this tasty, simple cocktail this side of Bermuda. The room is all sandstone, low lounges and low talking; soft furnishings rule. Foveaux's take on the classics is all Hollywood glam.
