Visiting The Sydney Aquarium On Monorail Or Light Rail
Sydney in Australia has plenty of watery delights to await the eager visitor including Darling Harbour, which boasts some of the city’s main and biggest visitor attractions.
One of these is undoubtedly the Sydney Aquarium, which can be reached by hopping on the Monorail and alighting at the Darling Park stop. From there it is just a short walk to reach the Aquarium itself, and all the many delights that are hidden within it.
The Aquarium in Sydney holds plenty of exhibits to excite people of all ages, and it is a particularly good place to take the kids if you are looking for something they will enjoy. All the excitement is certainly guaranteed to wear them out before you get back on the Monorail again to go back to your hotel at the end of the day. Alternatively why not ride along to somewhere else on the Monorail route such as Chinatown, to grab a bite to eat?
You should be prepared to be at the Sydney Aquarium for most of the day however, because there is so much to see and do here that you won’t want to go anywhere else on the same day. It’s designed for kids and adults to enjoy, and that’s why it’s open from 9am right through until 10pm every day.
During your visit you can also watch various feeding displays, so if you have never seen a shark or a penguin being fed before you should plan your visit around these times. Make sure you check the current times as soon as you step off the Monorail and arrive at the Aquarium; that way you won’t miss out on these spectacular events.
