Going To The Exhibition Centre We’ve Got The Best Way To Travel

Darling Harbour in Sydney is undoubtedly a breathtaking place and an absolute must see for any tourist, regardless of whether or not they have visited the city before.  The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is right on the waterfront, giving an outstanding view of the harbour and offering plenty of variety when it comes time to grab something to eat and simply sit back and appreciate your surroundings.

But while you will no doubt enjoy a stroll around the area to see the other sights and sounds that are on offer, you still have to find a way to get into the city in the first place, and get to Darling Harbor itself.  Luckily we have the perfect solution.

In actual fact there are two solutions: one is known as Sydney’s Light Rail and the other is the Monorail.  They both take in many of the city’s best locations, and they both stop right outside the Convention Centre, making them the best way to get into town to visit this area of Sydney.  Once you have got off either the Light Rail or the Monorail it’s a quick hop across Darling Drive and you will be standing right outside the Convention Centre itself.

What’s more, it doesn’t matter which time of day you are visiting either.  The Light Rail service runs twenty four hours a day all year round between Central and Star City, which represents the main areas of town.  That means you can be strolling around the city on Christmas Day and decide to hop on the Light Rail to see the Exhibition Centre and Darling Harbour on one of the most magical days of the year!

The Monorail is just as easy to hop on and off as well.  No matter where you are in the heart of Sydney, you’ll find a Monorail stop close by to take you right up to Darling Harbour.  The advantage of taking the Monorail is that you will also see some of Sydney’s most famous sights from a unique vantage point.  The Monorail rides above the heads of everyone walking around the city, and gives you a great opportunity to take some memorable photos of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre that you wouldn’t have been able to get even a few years ago, before the Monorail was built.

Darling Harbour itself can come as something of a surprise to some visitors, seeing as it is packed full of sensational eateries where you can pass the time while deciding which of Sydney’s attractions to see next.  That’s the beauty of heading for the Convention and Exhibition Centre – there is so much else to see that is concentrated around the same area.

While the Light Rail and Monorail are clearly a strong attraction for visitors to the area, they are also used heavily by those who live and work there.  Even some of the people who work at the centre use these methods to get to work each day, and with such a good service it’s no surprise.
